I was born in Damascus, Syria the oldest city in the world, and lived there till the age of 13. One of the main reasons for starting this blog was to share and keep my Syrian culture alive through my mother's delicious recipes. Although there has been overlapping in the middle eastern cuisines throughout the middle east, Syrian cuisine has its own unique style especially when it comes to Meze (a tapas-style meal with small plates).  In this section I will be sharing recipes like Muhammara, Kibbeh, Yalanji and more!
